Cancel scrolling in Windows
If you start scrolling a page by dragging a scroll bar, you can get back to the exact position you started scrolling from by moving the mouse away from the scroll bar. Useful to quickly glance over other parts of the document and get back to the line you’re reading.

A keyboard shortcut to quickly rename files in...
Once you select a file or folder in Windows Explorer, you can hit F2 to quickly edit the item’s name. If you have selected multiple items, though, only the first one will get the renaming treatment. This should work in Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

FluffyApp - A CloudApp client for Windows →
CloudApp is a super simple service for sharing links, photos, and files online. Its clients automatically create a short URL for whatever you upload, then copy it to your clipboard for easy sharing in other apps, Twitter, or email. For some time, CloudApp has only had Mac and iOS clients. FluffyApp finally brings this handy service to Windows.

Windows Media Player 12 auto-adds new media
When one adds new media to a watched folder, Windows Media Player 12 automatically detects and adds these files to the music library. The new media can be added from a number of other sources: Amazon MP3, The Zune Marketplace, the iTunes Store. As soon as WMP12 is launched, the new files are assimilated.

Windows (7) Media Center features borderless...
Windows 7 (and possibly earlier) Media Center allows for a border-less, distraction-less, movable window of live HDTV. This is useful for, say, watching the World Series while also grading Midterm exams and writing work-related email. The window can be dragged anywhere.
